DIY Okra & Clove Collagen Toner

1️⃣ Extract the Okra Gel

  1. Combine sliced okra with 1 cup filtered water in a small saucepan.

  2. Simmer on low heat for 8 minutes until the liquid becomes slightly viscous.

  3. Cool, then strain through a fine mesh or cheesecloth. Reserve the clear, slippery liquid.

2️⃣ Infuse the Cloves

  1. Add the whole cloves to the warm okra extract.

  2. Steep for 10 minutes to release fragrance and eugenol.

  3. Strain again to remove all solids.

3️⃣ Blend the Actives

  1. In a sterilized mixing bowl, combine:

    • Okra-clove extract

    • Cooled green tea

    • Rose water

    • Aloe gel

    • Glycerin

    • Vitamin E oil

  2. If using grapeseed oil, whisk it in until uniform.

4️⃣ Bottle the Toner

  1. Transfer the mixture into a 100 ml amber or blue glass spray bottle.

  2. Label with the name and preparation date.
