  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 carrots, sliced

  • ½ head green cabbage, shredded

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)

  • 6 cups chicken broth

  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

1. Sauté the Aromatics

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic, cook for 3–4 minutes until soft and fragrant.


2. Cook the Vegetables

Add carrots and cabbage.
Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly softened.


3. Simmer the Soup

Add chicken, broth, salt, pepper, and thyme.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer (covered) for 20 minutes.
